No, he's not dead, just thought I'd see if I could find anything that wasn't some totally horrific fibre glass d*g ****.

Re: Tribute to Chop Shop's Leepu

Here's the car he designed himself:

"I'm giving it big side-windows. People are gonna want to see the driver of this car," says Leepu Awila, "not just their face but what they're wearing, their trousers or skirt. I got the idea at the aquarium. I thought: if I can see the fish, the fish can definitely see me."
I love the way none of it is consistant with the rest, and the way it just has mad, unneccessary angles and curves jutting all over the place. It's a geometric nightmare.

Re: Tribute to Chop Shop's Leepu

It's that Fiesta they did that erked me.

Burnie should of knew better than that. The thing was a mess on both parts, faaarrr too much camber on the front wheels.

As I said in the last 'Chop Shop' Thread. Did they not know that Ford shoved a feckin' Zetec in a MK3 Fiesta!!

Tho that black Capri V8 did look very tasty.

Dude is a nutjob. Has no taste at all unfortunately
The Mk2 Golf for Jonny Vegas looked awesome until he actually started doing the bodywork

The 'muscle car; they did for Lawrence Dallaglio (capri with a Rover V8) wasn't bad - banded steels ftw!

I ****ing love the Jet One replica they did for Jools Holland too...

Re: Tribute to Chop Shop's Leepu

You have to see the car close up to see how bad they really are.
The finish on them is really bad.
The gansta car was on sale at the autosport so me and a mate went to look at it (As you had to pay to get in the restricted area) and it was a mess, wood screws everywhere, cracks etc The car was being sold as non road legal with no papers as it was a CAT B an was not allowed back on the road.
It was sold to some VW owners who plan to smash it up at santa pod at bugfest. The car was built for martin kenp and he was agreed to go to the show and have the first swing with a hammer hahaha
Will try and find the thread on the VW sites
    Very funny read

The state of the engine in the 944 they did. They just bolted the supercharger onto it and hoped it would last

He puts frigging arches on EVERYTHING. Rear arch ... curved. Front arch ... angular. Grrr. Does he lose his memory when he worked on each end like a frigging goldfish?
