| MIGWeb User | light weighting my corsa So i taken all the carpets seats door cards and sound deading off the car. I had a plastic petrol tank on my old renault 5 turbo and it was a **** load lighter tghan a metal one. Does anyone no were i can get them for a corsa B gsi. My last one came off ebay but cant find anything on there. cheers |

| MIGClub Member | Re: light weighting my corsa You want to be looking at poly windows, grp tailgate and bonnet. Removing all the extra metal inside the car, gutting the doors, loosing the metal bracing behind the dashboard, removing bumper bars etc Check my project thread. There's loads you can do to lighten a corsa, and changing the fuel tank for a plastic one is a long way down the list tbh

| MIGWeb User | Re: light weighting my corsa if got a cage remove the side impact bars from the doors, inner skins front/rear. then as daves said, poly windows, fibreglass bonnet/boot etc etc |
