I know this sounds stupid but how do i prove no claims discount? Do i have to call my old insurer for documentation??

Yep, ring your old insurers and they will send you proof out.

or if they sent a renewal pack to you, it will have relevant proof of no claims on there

One of the reasons changing brokers can be such a P.I.A

The old broker are often reluctant to send out that info again. As said though, usually find the no claims accumulated on the renewal letter.

cool, thanks guys. Will give them a ring tommorrow, spoken to too many insurers in one day for my liking
