    American Version MK2 Astra

    Anyone know the nake and name of the American version of the MK2 Astra? I saw one years ago whilst visiting Florida. This was well before the likes of Daewoo so I know for a fact it wasn't one of them. It had slightly different bumpers to our Astra but the sides were exactly the same. This has been buggin me for some time now. I have a picture of it somewhere but have yet to find it

    i did look into this but the nexia 1/4 panel is different around the fuel filler cap as it is a flush door on on hinges, and it would need modifying around the light cluster, wouldnt look standard if i where to go to the hassle of making it fit so decided not to bother, hopefully i should get away with just a repair panel instead.

    Looking the pic above, it looks like it had the fuel filler flap/door aswell, so you would have the same problem.

    Opel classic parts in germany still have the quater panels mate. I got one a couple of months ago.
    They are expensive as is the shipping but it arrived in perfect condition in its orignal GM box.
