The benifits of working nights mean.....

You have all day to do whatever you like, and in my case, a wash and polish of my Astra.
I have been kinda neglecting her recently, what with a pregnant fiancee and a house purchase in sight, thoughts of selling the Astra have been on my mind.
BUT, a change of wheels and a few nights driving have given me some new love, so there might be a change of plan.
Anyway, enough rabbiting on, here are the pics.

    I do like a reflection....

    At home with nature.

    Far far away.

    Arty or not?? I tried....

And in light of the car needing lowering, I thought I would go off roading, check the ascent capabilities.

    And back down..

    Hope you like the pics.
I have some serious thinking to do

    Cheers, Mike

    men to distraction. ;)
    Gorgeous pics Mike.

IMO Life is about trying to balance the things u love. Forging a life with your fiance and a baby on the way(Congratulations btw) doesn't mean u have to give up your car, but if u eventually choose to, it won't be the last one u own surely. Good Luck to u.

I've recently come off my 3rd set of night shifts, how were you cleaning and polishing your car during the day? I spend all my days in bed sleeping! lmao

Astra looks nice, not to keen on the mesh behind the front fogs. I think a silver stripe round the edge of the alloy's might finish it off very nicely (or ruin it, needs a 'shopping to see really)

I only ever work nights mate, 11pm to 5am, sleep till 12 or 1, loads of time for my car.
Didnt know what else to have where the fogs were as I wanted them gone, so mesh it was.

Its a laguna splitter mate, I just took my time fitting it as best as I could, I just removed the original splitter from the bumper first to get a better fit.
And yeah, Its lowered about 30-35mm on Koni adjustables, but the car is totally stripped out from the front seats back, so it now sits higher at the back.
IF I decided to keep the car, coilovers may be a option, although I cant find anywhere that sells them.

    Cheers, Mike
