.. my car seems to have developed a problem (maybe blown headgasket) now i don't have teh skills to fix this so i will have to pay somebody to do it which will be about £400.

Now being a crappy little corsa it is only worth about 700/800, so do i :
fix the car
fix teh car then sell it
sell now as broken
scrap it now
run it till it totally seezes

fix the damn car...get a migger to help you out for a little bit of beer money...seeing as your 18 im assuming this is your first car so fiz it and keep it till it dies or if its still working fine after you have finished with it then sell it
