Audi RS6 gen

Guys,

Persuaded Dad that he needs a new car, and that it shouldn't be a Cayenne . I've persuaded him to look at RS6's, and it looks like he's quite interested!

He's got 30-35k to spend tops, anyone got any gen on RS6's? Weaknesses etc?

What he needs is something relatively big, fast, not a saloon, with a bit of prestige, and pretty reliable. Any other suggestions?

The RS6's on autotrader are between 20k and 36k.

When u say a new car, do mean NEW or just a different car?

I think the RS6 is more the size he wants - and you're right, he won't spend that much (he could, he just doesn't want to - it's been a mission persuading him his old Rover 800 Vitesse needs to go )

I could only find RS6's near me for 28k upwards - but he'll pay that.

Erm, u say not a saloon, does that mean he wants an estate? or neither?

Well, he wants a hatchback, but noone makes one big enough anymore , so an estate is probably the best compromise (he won't have a saloon )

RS4 or RS6 avant then! Cant think of any others to compete with them....a volvo??
