Candyman's car I was going to buy for £4000 and thats of a high standard also. At the end of the day its what someone is willing to pay. Unless its been galvanised I don't see the point in spending £7000 on a Nova that could rot away from underneath you in the space of a couple of years. At least if the worst happened, Candyman's car could be broken for at least 50% of the value of the car if not more.

Couldn’t compare with Candyman's car as I haven’t seen any pics or spec. The point I was making is Nicks car isn’t just

I also didn’t say you had to spend £7000 on a Nova. My Nova has an agreed value of £12,000 so the 2 assessors who valued it must be wrong? And that was before I added the Autronic, ABS, EPAS etc
As long as it well under sealed/wax oiled etc there’s no reason any nova would ever rot away. Also if Nick was to break his car there would be well over 50% of the value in parts! Its the small things that add up, things like the alcantera roof lining!

Candyman's car . Very nice full leather retrim, Phase 3.1 LET engine, Full body respray which I remember the guy who sold it to Candyman saying when it was for sale. Cant remember the rest of the spec list but its a goodun .

To be fair, Nova_Turbo's car is pretty damn rare which would also help the £12000 valuation. But to find someone to pay that much when it comes to sell it is a different thing. I said at least 50% which was a reserved guestimate. Broke my old LET and made my money back give or take a few quid. Think sold everything for just around £3200 and spent about £3500 including buying it.
