Found some pics of declans old Nova.

Think they are from when it was still a 1300 8v. It went to a C16XE & then had the TBs when it was proper hardcore. Such a clean car though.
    it's a C20XE not a fookin Redtop FFS

Would've cost more in new parts and labour to build something like that so isnt too bad a price to pay. If you can do everything yourself then probably not worth paying that sort of money.

My grey one, QuickSR, i did everything myself. Brakes, suspension, bodywork, engine conversion, retrimmed the whole interior, seats, dash, install, etc. Cost me about £3k including the car. Had it for 5 years until the rust/rot was too bad, I was patching it up for every mot and it wasn't safe really. After that I just didnt have the time to build another and sinse I now have a bit more cash I bought the yellow one which had obviously had a lot spent on it, receipts for 10k at least. Ive changed little bits on it but I didnt miss the late nights crawling in the **** doing the oily bits.

I had the money but bought a cheaper ropier one for £2500. Fixed all the little problems with it and later broke it once I'd finished with it and got my money back.

Corsakid on here has the engine out of it and its a flyer .

There's a good chance I'll be selling mine at the end of next summer.

I'm doing the final touches over winter for what I've always wanted from the car. I want to be able to do a full show season and several trackdays then it'll probably go for a new project. For the right price obviously. Would hate to hae to break it.

    Simps.

was all done properly and it was a blast to drive id have another one anyday! i got just £1800 for the car which i think was cheap to say how much cash had been thrown at the car!
