    no,
    i wouldnt touch tbs,

way over price, and an less you spec £££££ getting them set up there crap,
and you allways smell burning oil,

carbs you bolt on...turn with a screw driver...and drive off...
    hot...cold...what ever they love it....

    and remember less is more....
i dont want a wiring loom in my engine bay...

Benn sorry thats competely crap, in the 3 years i had my tbs, the tbs themselves never broke or had any problems, it started everyday from cold, gave 50mpg on long runs and when driven sesibly round town the were still good, you will NEVER get that with carbs, and have you even herd of carb icing??

you said they need money getting them set up, that is correct, but carbs to aswell, and they will need more frequent adjustment, tbs are only crap when they havnt been set up properly, but alot of people buy them and just hope they can be bolted on and work when it isnt the case.

    push bike lol
this is gonna go on and on the way i see it is there both good but its down to personal taste. I like carbs because there old skool, sound amazing and are just mad. But throttle bods are the way forward if you dont want to go turbo power.

At the end of the day' if you have the money to spend you buy throttles. if not you buy carbs. Both do the job '

I ran brand spanking new twin 45s on my xe for a few years. cost around £900 from webcon at the time with all the fancy fittings ect.
Only once had them setup and never a problem with them.
Excellent peices of kit. But on the other hand the Qed direct to heads i run now are a nice peice of kit. Just more costly for the little benefits i guess. starts well ' drives smoother from the bottom end ' very responsive ' and on the same engine produced more power.

    oh the joys!

Chris has hit the nail on the head. Provided carbs are set up well they will be fine. It's only when people who don't know what they are doing start to tinker with it that they become less efficient.

If I had the cash I'd go for TB's. More gains which is what you want when buying these add on's...isn't it?

Just noticed Jays has no sunroof. Not a GSi then?

I sold him my Alessio's. Might be mine on there or they possibly went on his Corsa.

Some great novas out there, it seems most novas are owned by enthusiasts these days, boy racers seemed to have moved on to corsas. Maybe it'll lose it's chavvy name with time.

    here's another one of mine
