    Transporting engine, bonnet

If i was to collect a C20XE engine for example, would it be able to drive it a fair distance in the back of a mk3 astra gsi? I mean would it be too heavy to drive with in the back or not. Also, would a mk3 GSi bonnet fit in the back of an astra (on it's own lol), i've got a bonnet I need to collect and need to find a way to get it sharpish.
    Cheers

An engine in tha back of a car is no probs, had a C30NE (Carlton GSi3000 12valve) in the back of a car... that was a tad funky, but no biggy.

Bonnet..... I have had a Mk1 Astra bonnet in the back of a 5-door Mk3 Astra, you may well be ok.

Put seats down and it'll be easy.

Just be careful with all the weight at the back, mk3s aren't exactly renowned for turn in.

I have had a mk3 bonnet in the back of my 5dr astra. Was a tight fit but was ok, not sure about a GSI never seen how far the seats move forward in them ?
