best place for 4 pot brake kit??

looking at brake kits for the track car, decided now on smaller stuff so wheel and tyre options are more varied, was running 300mm discs so min of 16" wheel! expensive tyres!

rally design has come up cheepest so far with a 256mm willwood kit, dont really want to make up my own brackets etc, been there done that too much hasslelmao

    anybody recommened any retailers.

What about the AP Reyland 300mm brake kit? That fits under a 16" wheel.

I can't recommend the Reylands enough! Absolutely no brake fade whatsoever. Anthony has just come back from the ring in his mk2 astra LET and he did 4 laps (52 miles) back 2 back and they were spot on.

Like you, I find it annoying I'm stuck with 16s as track tires are expensive! But worth it in my opinion.

    Simps.

hhmmm so there that good these reylands.

ive got hi-spec kit on the corsa, 300mm with green stuff pads, i can get them to fade with not a lot of effort.

That's because Greenstuff are complete and utter toss.

The caliper only presses the pad against the disc, it's the quality of the pad that makes the big difference.

Save yourself a few hundred notes and put some DS2500s in.

Give those Mintex pads a go

For what it's worth, I found the brakes were a lot better with the old-style HiSpec rotors both with EBC pads.

I've had the rotors you've got on now with the Mintex then more recently the Greenstuffs.
