    Lightbulb Astra 16V brakes

Does anyone know whether a set of discs and calipers off a mk2 16V GTE will fit straight on to a 1.3? Would the servo need changing?

Would help me out a lot

    Cheers

they will indeed though you will need wheels of larger than 14 inch diameter or equal to to get the wheels over them

the servo may need changing, i suggest that you put them on first then try it

yes they wil fit strigat on and you won't have to change the servo as i done this mod to my old astra diesel and they have exatly the same brakes and as tom said you will need 14"s or bigger

P.S when you do this make sure the callipers are the right way round(bleed nipple at the top) or you will have fits as i did, DOH!!!

I've made the mistake with the upside down callipers as well. I only realised when I couldn't bleed them out. Doh. I've got an outline guide on this mod on my site 16 callipers

As above, they will fit straight on providing you've got 14" wheels or biggerer. You'll need different discs as well. I suggest you don't buy motor factor AP Lockhead ones, as they'll warp. I've just fitted ATE power discs (£58 from www.tuning.co.uk) and they haven't warped yet.
