| My Champs C20LET conversion (WIP) Some of you may have seen the thread on the astra-mk2 forum, (but for the Miggers), here are a few photos of my car getting the Kev Read treatment!
He's gonna try and get it all done before PV, the major snag will be getting the F28 speedo sender sorted. The F28 and F20 have gone off to a mate of his today (I believe) to have the necessary bits swapped over. Fingers crossed that goes well, then it's in with the LET.
Off to take the brakes over this afternoon, will take the camera too.
More to come, will keep you posted. |

| nice, make sure you have a proper check though, lift up the foam around the drivers rack mount and check the spot welds for rust, have a word to kev about it mate, he knows the score and helped me out with mine |

| He's intending to cut the foam out around it to make sure, but mainly so it doesn't happen at all! |

| I was thinking that, but I'd rather not knock the offset out any more, those wheels are an ET45. |

| It looks as though it's only the inner lip that needs grinding off, so it's no real love loss.
Still gonna be tight as arseholes though! |

| I would rather opt for a different wheel or a spacer as well!
Looking good though! I was planning on fitting my silly brakes and LET before PV but cant find any bloody 17's to fit them under!

| What spacers? Don't wanna change the wheels really, although I've been thinking about it
Just been speaking to Kev, and he's gone coy on the idea of modding the calipers, and is also opting for the spacers now. |

| It's Kev's technique - he prefers to do it that way, says it's easier to align and causes less damage in the way of scratches etc. |

| I'll prompt him mate (either that or you could request some on the thread on astra-mk2). I think he's hacked quite a fair bit off the back of the bumper which had already been trimmed when I had the wide mouth done.
Once I get the car back, I’ll be up for all sorts of meets etc, it’s been a long time coming! |

| benn has a berversion with butting engines in the top. If youre taking the suspension off anyway its far easier thru the bottom lol
