Whats wrong with it!?!

Hi guys just joined and want to ask a few questions. You may have seen my astra gsi on ebay recently(twice!) and had virtually had no response to it! Now i have had a couple of nova SR's and GTE's and driven loads of different astras and found this one which for me was top notch so bought it ( i admit only as a run around while my scooby turbo was being done up). The sound system is a 2001 sound off novice category winner so i believe and the tastefull mods make it look mint! Now why is there no interest? Surely you boys have an idea why its not selling or can tell me what to do to sell it!

Why doesnt anyone want it ????
Its an R reg "Eco tech" if that is the problem!
Any comment would be a help even if you tell me its a pile of crap atleast its something!!!!
How much do you think its worth?

i duno looks clean enough, and it looks all sorted. do you think you are asking too much for it? what sort of mileage has it done? service history? for the right money i'm sure it would move TBH.

Car has got vauxhall service history either from main dealer or vauxhall specialist. I was asking £2500 o.v.n.o and its done 94k which sounds high but mainly motorway miles and below average for that year based on 12k p/year.

Where abouts are you based?

I'm on the lookout for another GSi. The things that put me off your car are:

Front windows. I know its illegal to tint them, but I really don't like the look. Ecotec engine, from my point of view, I wouldn't be using it, but they're alot harder to sell on at the end of the day than the red-top.

I wouldn't say 2.5 is over asking, its borderline in my opinion for the spec, but you know what is said about modified vauxhalls, worth more in bits unfortunately...

As for car looks very nice but what did you put a starting bid from did you put starting bid of £2500 ?
Scrap my first bit as you are called madjimbo so that explains it .

asking way too much. only worth around 1500 unfortunately...standard maybe closer to 2000.

Mmmm mixed opinions! Thats what i like to see! Put starting bid at £1500 and only 1 bid at that amount would have thought would have got abit more myself. Know what you mean about front windows but wasnt planning on keeping it that long so didnt bother with any extras just money putting a few things right. To be honest i bought it as i wanted one a few years ago and wanted something economical (compared to my scooby) to use for abit and something different to raw power so went for soundsystem cruiser. Regreting it now! You should never have what you once wanted cos you will only be disapointed when you get it,lesson learnt! Arse! Oh well maybe someone will benefit from my misfortune!!!!
