I only work on the engine wednesday evenings at my friends workshop, never for more than a couple of hours, yesterday i left my office at 1:30 this morning, so didnt get to go down there at all.

So main thing holding it up is the lack of any free time due to work commitments.

Only other thing holding me up now is RobbieS making me a manifold as the one i have just isnt 500bhp+ material in my opinion.
kinda the same problem i had, we had a 30ftx20ft workshop built next to our house, only problem is that one neighbour has objected to it having power, etc. So at this time of year its neigh on usless.

I have my house plus front and back gardens, to the right is my good neighbour, tis a semi, and to the left is an 11foot roadway. Beyond the back of my garden is a small coachhouse office, the owner on the coachhouse office owns the 11 foot wide roadway. I have right of access at all times for all purposes to access my property. To the left of the roadway, near the coachhouse, accross from my garden is the new workshop.

The guy who owns the roadway will not grant an easment to get power/services to the building, even if we pay for rectification of the roadway. We can't go throught the house that the workshop backs on to as he's a **** too, and can't go through the neigbour next to him as its uphill and would then need to look at a sewage tank and pump set-up.

All a bit poo, literally!, The only way is to put a bullet in the guy who owns the roadway!!

Grr!

Can run a lead. but thay can't power a lift.

Buy a REALLY REALLY noisey generator mate.
And run it every minute of the day that you are allowed to within noise laws, ie up to 11pm or whenver it is.

He will soon want to let you put a cable through lmao

Thing is he rents the office, and doesn't work/live there, so it'll just piss off the neighbours, who'll probably just call teh council. Can't do it on the sly as he's the type of person who'd dig the alley up, just to prove the point and take us to court.

then buy a really really quiet generator

imo i would rather that than upset ppl and it will piss him off more to think your getting what you want and there is nothign he can do IE: nothing to complain about with no noise !!!
