Engine build stage 2 (56k erm no)

Carring on from..
Eninge build stage 1 (56k you might just be ok)

I started early getting everything out and ready and clearing more space,
after looking in the sump,i thought i should clean all the sh*te out of it.
Found the best stuff was fairy power spray... got all the baked on oil off and crap off...gonna polish it again as its on the engine so its easyer...

jamie turned up and got to work,starting to build the engine up...
got the crank in and bolted up tight,

the started on ringing up the pistons,

while i made the mod to the pistons caps for the arps,
a little bit of counter sinking done..

with the rings on,pistons all fitted with there arps in..

then to fitting the sump and bits,

water pump,oil pump and crank pully fitted with new e20 bolt,and backing plate on(pic taken before sumps on)

next to the top end..with the head studs all fitted,then headgasket on then ready for the head..

head on,ready for the cams...

arty shot down the cam running bit.. lmao

while this was all geeting done myself and astra dan rips a few last bits from the cally of doom (washing bottle for the guv..)
while i was cutting the loom out,jamie thought i wound if bolt cutters will cut glass...next second i'm coverd in glass so is the drive,with jamie saying " i only tryed it on the corner... lmao lmao

thanks guys,and yeah worked a treat,as the sump has sat and got full of bits i couldnt leave it,but got almost all the baked on oil off,

to right,just cleaned it up and made sure it overd ok,
