cost can vary depending wether you get an off the shelf kit or knock one up from seperate parts.
£200 - £500 for the bits to convert, plus the engine and ancillaries.
i did actually have a few probs with mine, but i think it was just bad luck over the engine being bad.
first thing was water leaks and overheating because of a split pipe.
then the head went porous, possibly sped up by the overheating,
then the fuel pump relay stumped me for a while, but i don't think it's been any worse than any other 15yr old engine.
it's been perfect for the last couple of months. a real pleasure.
i ran a 15.315 at pvs if your interested.
Corsa GSI shafts with Mk2 1.6 Cav inner CV's! Standard N/S mount, standard rear mount with 15mm spacer! Custom O/S mount! Add 15mm into the linkage where it is cut here!
You already have the shafts obviously (just noticed profile) you will also need a PAS pump (I used astra 1.6) and a double v pulley to power it! If you then use string around the outer crank pulley and the PAS pulley and measure it in mm go to Halfords as their belt numbers equate to their length in mm!
i think if you use string it'll fall into the slot around the pulleys and not give an accurate measurement. if you use the cosvaux type mount i'm sure the belt you need is 750mm.
Probably drilled wrong as most of my bits were! They were supposed to send me a new mount, (only one of the things wrong)...3 months later they sent me the wrong fookin one as replacement!
