Description: Astra GTE 16v Turbo

Engine: 2.0 Calibra Turbo engine. KKK Turbo, uprated actuator, K&N cone filter, custom 2.5" exhaust. Phase 2 chip controlled by an Apexi AVC-R boost controller. RBX Motorsport intercooler and Spark Plug cover.

Transmission: F28 gearbox converted to Front wheel drive, with a Quaife Limited Slip Differential

Suspension: Koni Adjustables with Roc springs

Brakes: V6 Calipers, discs and pads on the front. Standard discs on the rear. 5.1 fluid

Body: Shiney but with lots of dead bugs due to speed.

Interior: Black Rainbow interior, Oil temperature gauge, Shiney gearknob, detachable Alcantara wheel and the AVC-R. Dash has been extended to fit the new gauges in. :)

Wheels & Tyres: Astra Champion Alloys with Toyo Proxey Tyres.

ICE & Security: Kenwood Headunit, 10 disc changer, 6x9 Kenwood Speakers in the rear, 4 inch kenwood speakers in the front. For added tone an occasional squeak or rattle will develop. Thatcham 1 alarm/imobilliser.

Performance: Was run on the rollers twice. The first time it went off the scale and the 2nd time it wheelspun and achieved 249bhp from a Rolling Road at 1.25 bar but that reading sounds too low given the performance. 13.82@105.86mph at Santa Pod on September 15th 2002 running a full interior, standard tyre pressures, spare wheel, empty sweet wrappers, map, torch, you get the idea ;)

Thanks to: Animal for the suspension change.

Henryk Franczak for the Gearbox conversion and LSD fitting

Richard Bell for the Turbo conversion and all the little things he did to improve the car, the Apexi, the chip, the intercooler and everything else, it is appreciated.

Lots of people on here for advice and the incentive to get the car in the beginning.

Future Mods: New Turbo, exhaust and manifold, some new management and some new gauges :D
