    Big thanks to Rob@RSC

Just got back in and my neighbour popped over and gave me a parcel with foreign fragile stickers all over it, could of only meant one thing !

I would just like to say thanks for the great service and urge people who are after some steel rods to speak to Rob as he is doing a great deal on them, and all the other parts he has for sale.

    Top stuff

The rods were for Adam by the way Rob and I Know he is equally impressed with the cost and service.

out of curiosity, what bearings do people rate on a high revving engine,

heard loads of different types, and haven't had time to speak to the guy who is putting it all together yet so just looking for a few ideas

i dont think it is bent either, its where it curves up to the end of the rod making it look bent/twisted.

    look great btw

Gotta be worried that these items that are gonna be subjected to some extreme abuse are labled as fragile lmao

i notice there is no direct little end lubrication, i.e oilspray on these conrods, (as in standard xe conrod) how is this replicated on the farndon item??? also noticed there is some slightly unfinshed/sharp areas on the beam and the oil drillings on the little end,, can you advise on this please.

It's sad that something as smart looking as that is going to be destined to a life of living in the bottom of a dark oily engine lmao

there is little end lubrication, the 2 holes pick oil up as its scraped off the bores by the rings
there is no oil spray on the xe rods on nearly all aftermarket steels, if required for high powered lets i can put this gallery in, but on the xe it isnt an issue
can you get a close up of the bits you arent happy with mate?
