    gsi

    Hi

    i currently have a 1.8 sri and am looking to upgrade to the gsi.
    I have heard alot of reports about the poor interior quality of the gsi...has anyone come across this??
    Also is their anything that i should look out for when i am go to view them ie common faults??

    If you go over to www.astra-sport.co.uk you'll see a coupe of guys that have owned/own GSis and their biggest complaint is the build quality of the interior - too many rattles etc.

    But apart from that the car is awesome, IMO stunning looks and good peformance, you wont go far wrong with a MK4 GSi.

    I have had to replace no less than 15 different items that have just fallen off, now i just silicone them in. the rear 2 seat catch protectors last only a few weeks if you use the seats often.
    The marked police ones that we drive have hardly any bits left!!!
    Terrible interior trim, but boy is she fast.
    I gues you cannot have it all......
