The Million-Mile-Drive Programme is open to private individual car drivers, which possess a valid credit card and a current full UK/EU driving licence, which has been valid for at least one year.

Drivers must be 25-70, have had no more than 2 minor convictions in the past 5 years and have made no more than one fault / theft claim in the past 3 years to be able to participate in the Programme. All Drivers will be required to present their driving licence, credit card and a recent utility bill at the time of collection of the vehicle, personally sign this communication and hand it to the Vauxhall retailer before commencement of the test drive. Only the named Driver is covered by the insurance and eligible for the test drive. This programme is not available to Professional Sports Persons, Entertainers and Couriers. A security deposit charge of £250 will be made against the Drivers credit card prior to the test drive. This is returned to the card on satisfactory return of the vehicle to Vauxhall Retailer.

Vauxhall Motors Limited and its representatives reserve the right to refuse the participation of any Driver in the Programme if they have cause to believe that such Driver is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, that the Driver is not the person named in the driving licence and credit card details provided or that the Driver is unsuitable to take responsibility for the vehicle. Only one test drive per Driver will be allowed during the entire test drive programme. Offer and test drive restricted to mainland UK & Northern Ireland only. Vehicles must not be taken abroad. Drivers are restricted to no more than 300 miles per Test Drive (100 miles per day).

Although Vauxhall Motors Limited will endeavour to provide Drivers with their preferred choice of model; this may not always be possible if the model has already been allocated to another Driver. In such cases Drivers can either wait until the vehicle becomes available or select an alternative. The vehicle will have a full tank of fuel on collection and should be returned with the same amount of fuel.

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that 3 days are provided for the test, this cannot always be guaranteed. Vauxhall Motors Limited & its representative's reserve the right to terminate the test-drive prior to this period elapsing.

Fully comprehensive insurance is provided by Highway Insurance including collision damage waiver and theft protection. However, the Driver is responsible for the first £250 excess on general claims, and the first £50 excess on tyres and windscreens. Any damage incurred through Driver negligence shall be the responsibility of the Driver and Vauxhall Motors Limited & its representatives reserve the right to charge for such damage including, if necessary, a deduction from the Driver's credit card account. The insurance covers the named Driver for social, domestic, pleasure purposes & use in connection with their business. It does not permit racing, pace-making, reliability trials, speed testing, off-road use; towing, use for the carriage of passengers for hire or reward or for any purpose connected with the motor trade, or use in the vicinity of aircraft.

Drivers should take good care of the vehicle, and keep the vehicle secured at all times with the keys removed, and should return it in the same condition (fair wear and tear excepted) as when collected, to a member of Vauxhall Retailer staff within normal opening hours. No accessories or parts are to be removed from or affixed to the car. Any fines incurred during the test drive are the responsibility of the Driver and will incur a £25+VAT admin fee. Any property carried or left in the vehicle is at the Driver's own risk. Drivers must ensure that any personal belongings are removed from the vehicle at the end of the loan as Vauxhall Motors Limited or its representatives will not be held liable for any loss or damage.

Title to all vehicles supplied under these conditions remains at all times with Vauxhall Motors representatives. The Driver's credit card account number is given to Vauxhall Motors representatives by the Driver for the purpose of paying to Vauxhall Motors representatives any charges mentioned in the Terms and Conditions, including the cost of any fuel needed to refill the vehicle upon its return and additional service charge as detailed above. This does not preclude Vauxhall Motors representatives from seeking to recover any such charges by other means. It is a condition of this programme the Driver consents to be contacted by telephone following the loan to enable Vauxhall Motors Limited to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the Million-Mile-Drive Programme (this will involve questions regarding the level of service received, opinion of the vehicle, etc).

Only cars we have available for test are a Vectra energy 1.9CDTi and a Meriva energy 1.4

Highly unlikely that the big models will be available...
