    Field SFC-Hyper R

    My mate as aquired one of these.


    Im presuming its a fuel controller of some sort? I could be totally wrong.
    I wonder if anyone can give us any information on this or even a wiring diagram for it.

    lol this just gets funnier...im sure it says SFC VTEC

    they are meant for honda v tecs... and the last time i looked at a c20xe it didnt have VTEC mechanism in the head...

    The Field SFC Hyper-R can be used in conjunction with the SFC VTEC as an additional control module or a stand alone unit for Non-VTEC cars. Features include an 8 step fuel controller (plus/minus 30% in 1 percent steps). Perfect for your Non-VTEC DOHC or SOHC.

    You can measure performance data while running,
    which makes your fuel-control setting quite easy!
    We all wish to set up fuel control while watching the performance data in running. So our fuel controller the SFC-HYPER R is made to measure several kinds of performance data. It can record the speed and the time at three ranges; 0-100m, 0-200m and 0-400m. Moreover, it can measure the time required to accelerate from 0km to 100km/h. In addition, it can measure the peak rpm and the top speed.
    You can set up the fuel control in every 1%, from 1000 rpm to 8000 rpm.
    Our up-the-grade controller SFC-HYPER R can adjust fuel control delicately, from 30% to 1% in every thousand revolutions, from 1000 to 8000. And also, the auto-setting function works between every 1000rpm, and makes the accerelation quite smooth at any point. You can enjoy high-grade setting without difficulties.
    The working is so simple that you can set up quite easily!
    If you want to change the fuel control at one point, you can holdthe number of revolutions with one touch of button, so you can make the acceleration quite smooth at any point. The digital indicator shows the number you set up in every 100 revolutions, which makes the fuel control easy; in every 1% exactly. It also shows the number of auto setting in between your setting points.
    O2 monitor will raise the endurance of your engine.
    SFC-HYPER R shows the data detected by the genuine O2 sensor with the sign of LEAN / RICH, which realizes exact fuel control and good engine endurance.
    Boost & speed limiter cut.
    It can cancel the speed limiter or boost limiter(except some mode I's).
    Acceptable to your tuned computer.
    If you've changed the tuning menu, such as exchanging of the turbine or the muffler, you must set up the fuel control again. So, SFC-HYPER R is made so that you can use it with your tuned computer already loaded. Even if your engine is heavily tuned, you can tune the high-grade fuel control on the basis of the performance data that can be got from SFC-HYPER R.
    Loaded the memory which memorizes setting numbers.
    The memory can memorize three different setting numbers, so you can choose the suitable type of fuel control immediately. We have inputted two types of data into the memory in shipping; economy-driving data for fuel efficiency and feeling-up data for good accerelation. That is, everybody can enjoy the benefit of fuel control tuning without any special knowledge, owing to this basic data.
    Acceptable to any system of sensors. any model of cars.
    SFC-HYPER R is acceptable to the pressure-sensor system, the hot-wire system, the flap system, and others. For example, the SKYLINE GT-R has two systems of air flow sensor, but you can do with just one SFC-HYPER R. It is also acceptable to many kinds of Japanese K-car.

    cheers for the help ste.

    It was a freebie. along with the fan controller ect.
    So just thought we would look it up to see if we gained anything usefull.
    We dont have a celica. Got a supra lieing about tho!
