    Taste for the XE

Had a proper drive of it today on a bit of open road & was very pleased to say the least lol

Came out of chertsey, towards thorpe park theme park on the dual carriageway, tis a sharpish bend/sliproad onto dual carriageway.

Some bloke in a land rover infront was doing about 30 and not going nowhere quick, so i dropped from 3rd to 2nd, bangged the revs up (indicated lol) and pulled out, and f*******************ck me did it pull lol

Even the car comming down the carriageway whos lane i pulled into was doing about 70mph and i matched that speed in no time at all lol

As for the car behind me from the bend, well erm....he sortof disapeared

Very happy with it, glad i finally done it & now i know what people were on about

I can see me and the astra are going to have some good times

I'm just waiting till the day some saxo w*nker pulls up next to me and gives me a funny look

Obviously it took me a little while to get used to it, i treated her very gently till i hit the dual carriageway, then i broke her in

First time i drove it i drove it like the 1.4 lmao, did i sh*t myself when it lunged forwards lmao

mmmm XE's! Recently put my XE into my Astra, went up Pod last weekend and Pulled 15.5 twice with 17's, which i was rather happy with, also went to Interpro last sunday, and it pulled 156 on the roller's with a nasty blow on the exhaust, but the graph is mint, no dip's or anything, and I think the mileage on the engine is quite high! they just love it! Not happy with interpro though, £25 notes for a ****ty power run, and I didnt even get a Torque figure
