Have been doin a project for Uni on Hybrid cars, i.e. the Honda Insight and The Toyota Prius, think iread a thread not so long ago saying the Calibra still has the lowest drag co-effieciant of any mass produced vehicle (so excluding the likes of Mclaren F1 etc.) But just looked up the stats on the insight cus the aerodynamics play a huge roll in its 70mg  combined fuel economy and it has drag co-efficiant of 0.25, thats 0.01 better than the cally if im not mistalen! :)

Retract part of my previous stantment the cally is more aerodynamic than the Mclaren f1 (031) Ferrari F40 (0.34) Porsche 911(0.32) Tvr Chimera (0.36) toyota Supra(0.32) and Easily the Subaru Imprezza (0.38).
Soa side from a few corvette speicals the only more aerodynamic car i can find is the Hoda insight, (all 73 horsepower of it!)

The early 8v Calibras had the lowest drag due to the way the front bumper was (Something about fogs,or grill??).

The years after teh first few were not as good.
the bumpers on early 8v and 16v callys are the same, its as JohnA said, the narrower wheels on the 8v cars

the fogs on calibras are in the headlight unit btw

1993 Cavalier range is 0.29 Saloon and Hatch, and 0.30 for Turbo.

Same figures as Garrie for the 1993 Calibra range

MK2 Astra: GTE 8V is 0.30, 16V and all other hatch and saloon are 0.32, Estate and Cab 0.35.

MK3 Astra: Hatch 0.32, Saloon 0.31 Estate 0.33

MK4 Astra: 3 dooor 0.300, 5 door 0.309, 4 door 0.291, Estate 0.314, Coupe 888 0.31

Vx220 is a brick like 0.38
