    Cool The Cosworth YB engine....

    is a awsome unit

Had my first experience of one yesterday, in a Sierra Sapphire 4x4 RS Cosworth no less.

This thing has some history under its bonnet, were talking a re-built stage 4 with Rs500 intercooler etc etc, it won ten of the best in something like 1997 and the owner has a print-out from pod of sub 13`s .

Took it out and it was a animal, it was quite laggy but once the boost came on it launched its self at a silly rate, just an awsome machine.

The YB engine is the way forward, I prefer the Cavalier dash and interior but much prefer the YB powerplant and lets face it the Cosworth wins on overall looks.

Welcome to the converted my friend.

I have driven one Cossie but it had a 420bhp (genuine bhp) engine and boy did it ever go. The lag wasn't too bad in this and it pulled like a 2.0 Mondeo up 3grand and then let rip.

The YB has a herritage and tuning platform that no-one can compete with for the same money.

    *dribble* oooh 3dr

And of course you have the choice of a hard as nails 3dr, more refined looking 4x4 saphire with leather, air-con and 4wd! And then the more modern Escort.
