NOT t-cut, its old technology that will cause more harm than good

look at autoglym paint restorer and meguiars ultimate compound, the latter contains micro-abrasives

I t-cut first to get the crap off, then polish to protect the paint if u t-cut and don't polish you might as well throw a bucket of dirty water over the car.

T-cut won't get the crap off; a claybar will.
Polish won't protect the paint, as it's polish....
    Otherwise great info there.

There is bugger all in T-cut. Its worthless.

As Tazzy said, Autoglym paint restorer and Megiuars ultimate compound (i'd use Megs over AG) then a good waxing after that. You should always wax after polishing.

When I did my old calibra in white, I used T-cut and I spend hours on it and it got all the bits of tar and small scratches out then waxed it to protect it didnt use no claybar and it came out absolutely mint with a bit of elbow grease! the car had been standing for years and full of moss, I thought he said wax not polish lol.

Wash the car using a two bucket method.
Dry the car using a water magnet.
Clay bar the whole car using plenty of lube.
Use a mild cutting compound on dull areas....Followed by a good polish to bring back shine and lustre.
Then use a good wax....not to much as you will just waste it...just a nice glaze will do.
Buff to a shine and admire.

That's my fortnightly routine...and I just use a good detailing spray in between.

You shouldn't need to compound the car that often Roy...

Whoops....yeah sorry.....I only use a compound if needed...for example..when I first got the Zafira......it was a right mess. I think the last owner used 400 grit sandpaper to clean it....along with a sponge of nails.

Polishing should last for a 2months min really, as long as you keep it well waxed.

Did you tell the photographer off when he stood with his hands on the roof? I did..lol Did he tell you "bugger off " when you kept trying to clean bits while they where shooting? They did me... lol

You cant really ever have to much wax, building up layers doesn't do any damage.
