Hi all, hope this aint in the wrong thread, I have just got a 51 plate Vectra SRI130 and i have noticed the Irmscher letterbox exhaust is dark and not nice and shiny, Any ideas or methods on how to get it looking nice again, it will be off the car next week whilst i fit a centre pipe. Any advice appreciated

you prob have done this now but heres my two penneth, clean it with engine de greaser or wheel cleaner, then use Petrol to remove the tarmac spashes, then use t cut to polish up, it will look like new, hope you didnt use wire wool as this will scratch the fininsh.
when back on your car the heat of the exaust gives that hot race car smell...mmmm nice!

Thats great Paul, As for the hot race car smell, im a mechanic for a race car team and just had a weekend full of it at Donington lol
