    Question Paint reviver products!?

I've got a white van, and the paint seems pretty damn flat on it. Plus you can see where there have been graphics where its been used commercially. I'm sure you get the picture right? oh, and theres one or two small rust spots but there not the end of the world.

I'm not the fussiest, i just want a nice shiny van i can be happy with.

I've tried looking into what products/types to use to solve this (t-cut etc), BUT doing alot of reading seems to have left my head boggled.

I'll be doing it by hand so really, what do you suggest on a tight a**e budget?. I don't mind buying something good, as long as i'm not buying 123123123 different things.

    HELP.

i asked a similar question the other day and was advised to try claybar and autoglym super resin polish. i've not tried this due to lack of time so can't say on the results yet

As you said you are not fussy, and its only a van, well you know what I mean, a normal car polish will bring out the shine, first wash the van, dry it well, then apply the normal polish, such as the Turtle Wax polish i use, and let it dry and then wipe out clean using a suitable rag. There is nothing to it really, end of the day its not a show room car, it will soon pick up more dirt and so on.

Last weekend i cleaned my Red Micra, an L reg which had the drivers side faded real bad, it was almost showing white patches, and had lost all shine, I just gave it a quick wash and allowed to dry then a quick session of polish and shine! it came out so well, and shiney. i used Turtle Wax, thats what i had and its not necessarily the best product on market, but for 2 quid you can't go wrong.

    Thanks dudes,
I have actually tried turtle wax a couple of weeks back, didnt seem to do much really as regards bringing it back to life, it is pretty damn flat., and yes i did do it properly lol.
I'll keep me ears open though and i'll have a look at the claybar and autoglym like you say.

Get a bottle of g3, that will clean the paint up and bring it back to life. Add a coat of wax over it after to keep it looking nice.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.

If doing it by hand I would say Auto Glym Paint renovator followed by Super resin polish and then wax it =D
