Corsa b faded door

hello i have got a vauxhall corsa b and replaced the passengers door the same colour. in the day it looks fine when it gets dark it looks faded and i have polished it and no better what can i do help please thanks

yep spot on m8 out side my house and there a street light

the technical name for it has slipped my mind but its all to do with the sodium in the lights pulls the pigment out off the colours , light refraction maybe , happens on a few colours but red being the most noticeable and problomatic

yer i no red is bad so is there nothink i can do

blend the colour into the side but its always a gamble , take bulb out lamp post or park furthe away lol

well the same side my quarter is damaged and need that doing so could get my door blown over. thanks for the halp mate

just paint side should be ok , 90% sure but paint can be a bitch , where abouts are u ??

kent is a problem lol , i have a body shop in poole could have helped out but its a bit far sorry

lol yer that quote i was having my mirrors and that sprayed i think ill be about to get it done for around 200
