you'll need to flat off the car mate as there will be dirt nibs, orange peel (if its laquered) and some overspray kicking about
although the body shop should have took care of that.....
get some FARECLA G3 and a good polisher mate

what else did they do to it apart from paint??
Turbo Lag Is Utter Gash
nothing, repaired the rust and resprayed, they were supposed to do the door handles too and i'm a bit concerned they tried to get them off but couldnt and broke it (affecting the alarm) and just blagged they forget them? cant prove any of it though

fcuk sake man thats well bad
i thought it would of been something like welding without putting on the batt protection surge
but if you phone them and ask to speak to someone in charge and explain you might get somewhere if its a respectable company??
if not...name and shame them

its one guy who owns the garage he does the spraying, they are called MRF - vehicle body specialists. based in warminster. have named and shamed them on allcorsa and now on here too

what have they got to say about it? have you been and seen the guy at the garage?
I'd walk down there and find the guy who sprayed it and ask for an explanation, but then again I would not have driven my car from a bodyshop if it had bodywork defects, kind of defeats the point.
generally by taking the car away you are accepting the standard of work, the shop I worked at had taxi drivers turning away absolute perfect jobs if they thought they could spot any defect, defects that were in factory paint, the cars had to be re-done as the work was not "satisfactory" if the car left the shop and came back though they would be told to get stuffed.
i didnt notice it until this morning when i washed it, was in a bit of a hurry yesterday as my gf had a hospital appointment but he has said that it should clay bar/ polish out but if i have any problems then to go back down, but i need to go back anyway because he forgot to do my door handles so he said he would do that at some point, ideally if i do go see him i want to take the car so i can show him what i mean, as it stands i cant do that right now because of the alarm problem

id get him to sort out the paint out as not up to you to pollish if you mark it why polishing he won't have any responsability for it and if he isn't willing to re do the work to a good standard have a slight mention of getting trading standards involved and see how helpfull he goes. as for the alarm i cant see him taking blame fo that as the car drove away from there without problem
yeah found out the alram was due to my amp not switching off so it drained the battery while it was in the shop, cant fault his work really the bits he painted are ok ish its the rest of the car thats not, but came up a bit better with a t-cut and i'll get a clay bar on it next weekend, i'd prefer to do it myself anyway tbh

I used to live in Warminster and nearly took my GTE to MRF to have some restoration work done. Went to a different place in the end, Aidy's body care. I don't think either of them are much cop to be honest.

It's well worth a trip to Newport S Wales. Chap called Rey did my Bordeaux GTE 16v a couple of weeks ago and for the money the work was spot on and a quick turnaround too.
