How do i get rid of the dog hair?!

Had an Bmw 316i saloon before my Gsi. Decided to get a hatch Gsi so if need be i can get the dogs in the back

Big mistake....



Got the carpet prety much clean with the dyson but i cant get the back of the seats clean or the side carpet with the dyson or brown tape!

Now when i complain about the dog hairs the mrs like to remind me "thats what you brought this car for!"

Thats what she thinks lol

Any ideas anyone?

Masking tape wrapped around your hand (sticky side out)

Rub/run that all over and it will lift the hair out. Then a bloody good noover with the hard short brush end.

Tried that with brown tape,It takes too long! and id need about 20rolls! might try the stiff brush idea though!

I use one of these:

Meguiars Pet Hair & Lint Remover Brush

Does the job pretty well wont get every last hair off will will remove around 90% of them, then just sticky tape the rest. Its an idea to use the hoover at the same time and just brush towards it.

you can get a rubbery brush that all the hair sticks to. Looks like a nail brush. Think Autosmart make it.

You can get roller things that take rolls of sticky sheets for about 3 quid from the supermarkets, I got mine from Morrisons. When the sheet gets full just tear it off and go again.

ive tried alot of the above i use a hoover to remove the worst to start withbut i dont let it touch the area that im cleaning as it can force the hair deeper in to the grain of the carpet then i use a hard brush that comes in the hoover tool kit then once the worst is up i use the hoover again but i move the pipe in small sircles to massage the hair out of the pile. Verry time consuming, pet hair is the bain of my life.

change teh carpet and the seats, then dont let the dogs in there again,. or cover it up first or just get dogs that match teh couler of the interior, or paint them haha.
