    Thumbs up gsi head lights scratched.

    now iv bin told the'll buff out,
    but i dont wanna attempt it and ruin them completely.

    anyone got any tips for me befor i start?

    To be frank mate you can pick up a set new for £50, unless you have experience with a machine polisher( for best results) or hours on end for each light, i wouldnt bother. The problem with buffing them out is through time you would have to redo them. Speaking from experience was thinking of slightly smoking mine with the laminx film, that way you get a clear gloss sheen but then again its around £50 for enough film to cover them.

    Good luck if you try it and i hope it turns out but be prepared for loads of sanding and faffing about to get them like new again!

    Yes... remove the contamination/scratching with wet 2000 sandpaper and then polish them with an agresive pad and cut compound. It will take you 1 hour!
