    Cleaned the Flakes..

Had a good go at the Vectra wheels this afternoon. Good time to check for cracks (apparently common on the 19" Snowflakes).. Before and Afters:

Still, found no signs of any damage to the wheels..

Dealer serviced it on Friday, and told me they'd spotted a nailin the O/S/R tyre.. No problem, its nearly on the bars anyway..

What they didn't spot is the Nail in the N/S/F tyre..

Oh well.. They are only £120 per tyre.. Looks like 4 now rather than 2..

Replace the tyre because it has a nail in? Would you not get it patched internally for £10 instead?

Usually I would.. The two rears are nearly shot anyway, and TBH, the fronts arent that far behind them.. Added to which, it was still wearing what it was when I bought it a year back.. An Avon ZZ3, A Continental Sport Contact3, and two Mytyres special tramliners..

Decided that even if I did two now, I'd have another two to do in a couple of months anyway..

Just got back from the garage.. It now has 4 Avon ZZ3's. Guy at the garage was dripping with sweat by the end as well.. )
