    cleaning winows

    does anyone know what is best to clean the sticky off windows when they have removed window tints?

    i used paint thinners made it fly off but put it on a cloth not straight on the window as it will run on to the bodywork

    I tend to use Autoglym tar remover, not to bad, u need a bit of elbow grease though!

    auto glym tar and adhesive remover put it in a spray bottle and spray onto window works wonders

    Tar and glue remover is brilliant it takes it off with ease, try a local sign writing company they sold me some and i couldn't believe how good it was 5litres for £10.53

    Also use a thin paint scraper if you want. Stanley blade essentially in a plastic handle. Use it to remove any gloss splash when painting window frames......................won't scratch your glass. Gasket scraper is another one to use.........................

    ive got it all off now with wd40 and fine wire wool got all off in 10 mins, no mess either as the resadue gets stuck in wire wool, then just cleaned glass as normal

    Thinner and a cloth and it'll come straight off,had the same problem with my mk3 Astra
    Went through 4/5 products until i tried it

    I am looking for any cleaning products for cleaning car windows. A product that doesn't leave so much streak. What kind of wipe should I use that would reduce streaks?

    i use auto glym glass cleaner and a squeege to clean it off.
    v6 straight 6 as long as its got 6
