Just gave my Mk4 astravan a clean

Well dragged it home saturday afternoon as it decided it didnt want to start and still cant get it going.

But decided to give it a clean to make it look a bit better.

Got a lot of work to do as it seems to need a engine re-build so hopefully be back on the road by the end of the month.


Any way here are a couple of pics of it.
Have a few plans as its my Mobile Mechanic van so want to make it look decent to make it stand out a bit.

The bonnet wont shut properly. the front bumper is knackered and needs replacing but at least its relatively straight

Looks a tidy van, I love these when they're all colour coded up with a spoiler, Couple of nice ones on here...
Should be a good advert for you when its done. Whats the plans for it?

Well it had a spoiler untill someone ripped it off when the previous owner had it.

Plans are :

A possible GSI front bumper and maybe a decent rear both colour coded.
Rear spoiler.
Set of comfy bucket seats
Nice system built in out the way so i still have a decent usuable work space.
Some kind of back box just to finish it off
Aftermarket steering wheel.


The list can go on and on so think thats the base plans...

Who knows whats going on with the engine as at the no its knackered... would love a LET in there though
