It will bring the oils back to the surface, you then wanna keep up on them with something like AG bumper care.

i wouldnt advise using a heat gun unless confident with it because you can cause the plastics to bubble. i would recommend a hair dryer or a 2 stage heat gun along with some good bumper gel, auto glym is a good product as is many others. baby oil works wonders too..

Ive used olive oil instead of baby oil and it ran down the bumpers when applying it, to say i wasnt very pleased is a understatement.

Peanut butter is the daddy, Its puts natural oil back into the plastics, Its more environmentally friendly than using car products with chemicals in, and it costs around 60p a tub.

1, does it come in a plastic tub/tube?
2, do you use wash&wax? Or any other wax/polishes?

As non of that is environmentally friendly.

I never said it was, I specifically say peanut butter lmao

You could buy 100% carnauba wax (can eat that to) and when your finished you can recycle the tubs lmao

what you want is something called Gtechniq C4, awesome stuff, turned my trim from grey to black and lasts around 2 years.

I use black in a flash. So does Dale on Monty.

A few coats and it looks like new, then a quick once in a while

    Re: Bringing back plastics

my mate used the heat gun on his mums punto and it turned out mint. autoglym bumper care is very good but the pronblem with it is the dust sticks to all the trim you use it on. very annoying.
