Machine polish before or after new wings?

When I get time I'm going to machine polish the S class. I'm also going to get new front wings painted and fitted. Does it make any difference which order I do it? IE is it easier for paint matching to have old paint or am I best to have it looking shiny?

Probably a silly question but hey ho lmao I've never been committed enough to get a car painted

Hmmm, initially i was going to say after, but if they are spraying a colour match, maybe before. Normally they'd mop it all after spraying the wings.

See, the only reason I ask is that I'd do the polishing whenever I got a chance. My painter contact wouldn't be doing anything other than painting and doing the things I can't so it's cheap lmao

Do the whole car first. Then get the painter to flat the new paint (2k wet and dry) then machine polish it after
