    polishing advice

I need to polish my dad's plenum and wheels on his car.
The plenum has a few corrosion spots and is as little dirty and the wheels just need a good clean, what would be the best polish and cloth to use and the best technique.
here the plenum im looking for a nice clear clean finish almost mirror like if thats not possible the best finish i can with polish or t-cut?

    and a front wheel:

    any help appreciated cheers stevie
