Got myself a meg's G220 for my b'day and then went about gathering polishes and the likes, always loved the colour of the veccy but in sunlight the swirls were very noticeable so it was top of my list to get done (plus it was summat to practise on before i'd go near the cav t or cali t :P)
So y'day evening I started into it (nervously) had visions of burning through paint or summat but it was actually very easy to use and i'm well pleased wi the results, they're not perfect, there's still some scratches that could do with another pass, but generally its improved the finish a lot!!
some of the4 stuff i ordered from cleanyourcar
and the resta the junk...
car was clayed and detarred last week...
so into the garage
Some 50/50's... my light died and it was getting late so i gave up on these
and some pics took this morning in day light, suns very high in the sky, so difficult to get good close ups
Used Menz IP 3.02 on a yellow megs pad mostly, then a coat of red moose glaze followed by some megs's liquid car wax ( gold class ) Was hoping to hit it with collinite but i forgot to order some... doh!
Big thanks to the mrs for buying me the G220, and thanks to Ruth M for helping me with a quick tutor on machining
