autoglmn super resin still gives outstanding results and sometimes the autoglmn top gloss gear.
Autoglym Super Resin for me too :-)
There seems to be allot of confusion here about Wax's and polish, a polish will provide no protection to your paint work and very little in the way of gloss, where as a wax does. As a polish I would suggest Auto G's Super Resin Polish, it has some good fillers in which will hide some of the swil marks you will have in your paint. AG Super R has been proved to be better at filling swirl marks that most brands, plus its fine to use by hand. You will never cover up every defect with fillers only paint correction can do this.
But i would always use a wax over the top to protect the paint.
I generally use a mild Shampoo (meg's gold class)
a soft clay such as sonus green or BH Soft
then a glaze using a DA of Poorboys black hole
2 layers of Dodo Juice Blue Velet hard wax
Spray on Wipe of sealant of Zaino Grand Finale
The above combination is ideal for black or dark coloured cars
If it aint broke dont fix it
I use chemical guys ez creme glaze instead of a polish, the seal it up with collinite to get a nice long lasting shine.
I use AutoGlym Super Resin, then a coat of PoorBoys BlackHole glaze, and then a coat of Meguiars Tech Wax![]()
i use megs stage 2 polish
may have to try this autoglym super resin though![]()
The Sonus green is a very mild clay. The first time i clayed my car i used a more aggresive clay that removed all the contamination, as the car gets clayed so often i use the light sonus clay as its milder on the paint work and there is less chance of marring the paint with it.
Using clay for the fist time i would go for a harsher clay, if your going to clay the car regular, switch to sonus after the initial claying.
BH clay is great simply for the fact you can use water as the lubrication, but you can also use a little shampoo and water for normal clay if you run out of QD
If it aint broke dont fix it
lol Cheers for the tip but i know what i'm doing.
I'm louder than gods own revolver and twice as shiney.
I'm new to the forum. Nice post.
Poorboys Polish,
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant,
Pinnacle Souveran paste wax
Leave the sealant overnight before waxing.
Autoglym Super Resin, and for that extra shine use the gloss protectors etc.
Mine will be getting the quick treatment today!
Autoglym for me then use this pad thing with a bag in it you cut the bag in side the pad wet it and wipe it on then let it dry it drys white and its ment to leave a layer of fiiment on the paint work to seal it get them from a good mate for feeee he says the renault place he works charge £70 to do it.
