Yes its deffo worth claying. (wash, clay, 1 2 3.)

It no only makes it easier when waxing and polishing but it gives a better finish and the surface will be cleaner and smoother feeling.

Yeah, there are loads of clays out there but they basicly do the same.

You canget a more stronger one, but thats to remove over spray and such.

get the kit if you can afford it but realistically you can get away with soapy water.

just remember to keep the panel you are doing nice and slippery or it could damage the paint, don`t let it dry out while using the claybar.

The only clay you need Bilt Hamber lubricate with just water huge block and a lot cheaper than many other brands. Have a scout around Detailing World, it has received a lot of good reviews.

Is annoys me.

Auto-clay is the first one we’ve tried that can be used with water. Most need a special lubricant.
None of them do. You can do all of them with just water.
Bar is about the same you'll get in the megs kit.. They are all about the same size, bar the sonic hard stuff for over spray and harder grim, which is a very small bar.

Get a garden spray bottle, dilute some car shampoo & use as a lube for claying.

Re: what stage to use clay and should i use it???

I washed car with turtle wax. Then used compound Trisack 3M (purple lid) to get the hair line scratches out. Then Clay Bar whole car. Then any wax after to protect the paint. I used DiamondBrite hard wax, It comes in 2 packs, 1st layer on, then 2nd layer over the top, they both mix and form a long lasting wax for 4yrs.
