This car was sold 4 months ago by a leasing company that i do work for, i never saw the car before it went out but they did say it had some swirls on it (they don't belive in detaling) but a week later they got a phone call to say the customer was not happy with the car and he had taken it some were to have it looked at and who ever had looked at it said it would be a £1000 plus to put it wright. Well to cut a long story short they have now taken the car back and this is what i found today
At the start
Nice and swirly
Now all i have done here is give it a really good polish by hand with a trade wax, no buffing i know its not the best but it looks a lot better
And all done
And seeing as the guy was so fussy this is how he had left the boot nice
Now remeber this guy was quoted £1000 to detail this car i spent 2 1/2 hours on it and charged £70 i know i could have got it better but thats all they wanted to spend. But can you see were the other £930 would have gone ?
The condition of that Commander is bloody good considering some of the cars that I see. Company cars are will be one of 2 conditions; very good, or ****in awful.
My company cars' condition aesthetically is shocking; it's hardly ever cleaned. But mechanically it's in great shape and in 100k has only had services and some brake discs/pads
Good job is that Dave; I still think you under charge though. Should have passed the job over to your mate in Rochdale
