Kids and footballs =

well over the weekend i've been camping with some friends, I'm allways a bit funny about kids playing football near my car. My wife saw them hit my car but did not tell me because she new i would kill them

This is what i found

Washed it off first and this is the damage

All sorted now

Yep, tis quite shocking how much it wrecks the paint. Then its not really surprising when you consider the ball is covered in mud and grit from the ground, just waiting to score nicely when it impacts.
Mine are always being battered by the little darlings in our street, then their parents look at you like you're not right in the head when you complain about them damaging your car, you get the whole "Its only a football, how can it be doing damage? Get a life" comments etc.
Does my ****ing head in

When I was with wife and boy , I lost count of how many times we went out there and shouted at the kids .
Said the usual and the fact there is a big field literally 1 minute ( probably less ) walk at the square .

Re: Kids and footballs =

In my street as a kid we had a big cul-de-sac at the bottom of our road which was always empty so I spent my younger years playing football there.

The "No Ball Games" Signs which were bolted onto the walls turned into targets or the marking point of the crossbar at footie
