Had a pm from rob (Sbd16vgte) about a valet for his vectra, so let him know what i could do and he brung it over on sat for me to work a lil magic with.
So take one unloved black vectra, with the following bad bits.
Swirled/ghosted bonnet,
Same on the boot,
Random bit of flatted off paint on the wing,
Scratches like this all over..
Wheels needed a little loving,(they have a light coat of citrus degreaser on them in the pic)
So starting with washing the car off.. then a light claying.
The front end needed a good mopping over so i set about it useing a mix of 3m fast cut and machine polish,
With that done, i jetwashed and re washed the car..
Now knowing robs adversion to cleaning.. it was gonna be best to treat the car to something that would last alittle bit longer.
So..
Whole car treated,
While that was hazing up, i scrubbed out the window rubbers, and treated the rubbers with a rubber care,
Next stage was to fully seal the paint work in with the year treatment stuff,
Did the glass, and trim again while it was hazing over..
Then all off,
So with it off, pics of the damage on the door,
Wing,
Boot,
Bonnet,
With the wheels all clean, all the plastic arches with de-gresed then geled up, and they tyres cleaned and geled too.. the car was all done.
All the insides where hooverd and cleaned off, leather wiped over as i havent any leather cleaner at the mo, and all door shuts cleaned and waxed.
When rob picked it up he seamed happy, so i hope he was, and that he'll tell his friends.
Remember its all in the name.... Shiney cars.
Tell your friend, i'm allways open.
