    Gen on cleaning car carpets?

Not something I've done before... what's the best stuff to use? I've got a beige carpet with a few muddy marks in it

Yeah I love the stuff. No good for ground in oil or anything, guess you'd need some evil sh1t to soak in for that, but for light stuff like mud and general dirt it's really good and easy to use.

It did have a bit of a smell actually, sorted that out, and got Williams F1 smelly now

Smells of a different girl juice now, she was nearly 18 so no wee odour, unlike what you have to endure

Yep, seats out, carpet out, hang it over the washing line and hose it down.

ANY product that uses a detergent will leave a residue in the carpet and that residue will attract dirt making the carpets more difficult to Hoover clean.

Is this true of the turtlewax stuff, as you vacuum before and after use?

It works by the dirt sticking to the foam, so the foam is sticky. You vacuum it off, but some will remain stuck to the fibres of the carpet. Next time someone gets in with damp shoes the foam residue gets wet again and the dirt sticks to it. It drys and now the dirt is stuck to the residue which in turn is stuck to the carpet fibres.

Had the carpets out my cally when it flooded, not fun getting it to fit nicely after.
So for light mud etc would you reccomend scrubbing brush and water then?
    Nice sig btw

Light mud I would let dry and then brush with a soft brush to break it up then vacuum the dust up.
