| be careful because if there not used at correct speeds of if used to heavily its easy to burn the paint and disfigure it, learn this the hard way...ill not be touching my new paint with one at all...elbow grease lint free clothes and meguiars products for me
zymol is a super expensive polish/cleaning products |

| I'm with Casper, its very easy to fvck up the paint with a rotary polisher... Meguiars do a "porta polisher" for waxing cars which is supposed to be very good.

| It's important with mechanical polishers to keep it moving and let the machie do all the work, that is don't press down hard or try and rub the paint with it.
I use one for t-cutting and polishing, and as long as you use it correcty, it gives fantastic results. (also don't get ones that plug into car lighter sockets, they don't have enough power)

| i bought a cheapy 10'' one a few years back, it now sits in the back of the garage......
Followed all the instructions and still managed to pull paint off the car, turns out the paint was weak and so really shouldn't have been done with it.....
I only use elbow grease now, the end results are a lot better, the thing to remember is it needs to be done regularly in order to build the shine up and i have found using a good quality polish and cloths helps as well . |
