Tyre cleaner? which is best?

giving the calibra the once over a dam good polish and wonder wheels-ing the alloys but the tyres now let it all down so was wondering what you lot recommend to clean the tyres?

If you have an Asda nearby, grab some Turtlewax aersol 'black in a flash' you can use it on plastics and rubber. Best thing is its £1.97 as opposed to Halfords £5 for the same product. Works really well and Ive used loads.

nah the best stuff is by a big company, they supply vw and the stuff is like and oil. cant remember for the life of me what it is though.

Turtle Wax do a clear liquid in a clear bottle made for spraying on dashes and bumpers.

Balls to the spray, put some in a dish and paint on, it's the mutts nutts!

i just put normal back 2 black spray on mine.thats what i use for all the plastic inside and out.

one of my workmates uses wd40, dont know what kinda affect this will have on the tyre tho.
He swears by it

i use a liquid called HIGH-STYLE from a company called AUTO-SMART,
thats wot i use @ work aswell, all the leading car manufacturers use this stuff

just get an old plastic milk bottle, cut it in half & use it as somthing to put a little bit in, then get a 3.5" paint brush & simply brush it on the sidewall of ur tires, then wipe off any excess with a cloth
