| To settle the meguires/autoglym argument I waxed half the car with autogly and half with meguires today - and can see no difference (apart from one really shiny car )
But will post pics in a week or so when it's starting to get dirty and see if theres any noticeable differences |

I can usually hack waxing the roof, bonnet and front wings but get bored after that. It just makes me wish I had a nice new paint job with no marks and dings. |

I'd take you up on the offer but my mower is in the midlands. I could probably get hold of some sheep for a good price though? |

| The only way to answer the question fully would be to do a Flame Red car with Meguires on one half and Autoglym on the other half and leave them out in the sun for 3 years and see how it looks then.

| i am still an autoglmn man thru and thru.but i am using mequirs polish as it is a light polish 2 use and is better for newer paint work i think.also the autoglmn is a bit chalky if it dries 2 quikley. |

| I do like AutoGlym stuff... this is the result of yesterdays effort:
I only own 1 Meguires product, and thats the black trim 'Gold Class' stuff... and I must admit in my opinion that AutoGlym 'Bumper Care' whips its ass, needs much less effort for the same if not better result.

| I've bought the meguires 3 step polish.
It was ****e in my opinion.
The first bottle didnt get the white paint work anywhere near good enough to polish. The Vectra now has a really dull roof.
I'm hoping it's nice on tuesday so i can T-cut the car then try the 3 steps again |

| pffft call that a collection of cleaning products do ya!
Imho Megs has some better products than AutoGlym and vice versa. Polish and wax wise Megs has the edge. For cleaning and restoring paint I like using AutoGlym Intensive Paint Restorer. But there's a lot more to it, cleaning cars can get like tuning cars, the more you get into it the more you learn. Plus it's the method of application and tools used that makes the big difference.
But either way they are both just average cleaning products available off the shelf a your local auto factors. They are in no way the best at what they do.
If you want to get more serious about polishing then you need to look at the likes of PoorBoys, ClearKote and Pinnacle.

| I've got a load of autoglym gear in the garage.
What colour is the label on the intensive cleaner?
I think only thing like that i've got is the tar remover.
s the intensive cleaner not as harsh as t-cut?
You used it before, does it get the paint smooth and clean? |
