Thumbs up Used Meguiars for the first time yesterday

Always been a fan of Autoglym but this stuff is miles better IMHO.

Very easy to use and recommend to anyone that hasn't tried it

I used the meguiars tyre blackener yesterday. waiting to see how long it lasts. But the first impression is good, no streak marks etc.
Always used Autoglym myself.
What did you use, just polish?
Was it better than the autoglym polish?

I used the 'nxt generation' car wash followed by the nxt gen tech wax. Wanted to also try the clay stuff but they didnt have any in stock.

Found it so much easier to use and apply with also much better results so i'll certainly stick to buying this for the time being i reckon

Adam, shut up.

As for the price, I bought a tub of the Gold Class wax and it was 12.99 or something. Thought this was a bit pricey but the tub will probably out last the car. Amazing value for money.

i'd imagine a wax from meguiars would be similar to the extragloss stuff from autoglym

a wax isnt a polish and i dont know what meguairs sell as a polish

u could always use super resin then go over it with the meguiars wax

Extra gloss protection is a synthetic based sealent as far as I know, most Meguiars waxes are natural carnuba based. Carnuba's give a deeper reflection but aren't as hard wearing. You can actually layer one on top of the other, on my 4i I use a synthetic sealent and a carnuba wax on top.

I used diamond brite on my car yesterday, I've always used super resin on both my black cars, but this stuff is AWESOME.

The only way I can describe the shine is when a car has been lacquered but not compunded. Like a deep wet shine. Truly awesome stuff !
